Cisol do Brasil is a producer of concentrated juices, whole juices and essential oils of orange, lemon and lime (Tahiti and Sicilian). The production processes of the company were carefully developed for the obtention of high quality products.
The first stage of processing of all products is the reception and cleaning of the fruits. The raw material is transported from the fields to the industry by trucks and is submitted to the selection process. In this step, inadequate fruits are removed and excellent quality fruits are selected and submitted to the cleaning process, in which dirts and any other physical hazards (leaves, twigs, etc.) that comes along with the raw material are removed.
After appropriate selection and cleaning, the fruits are routed through mats for extractors, in which occurs in the extraction of the juice, that is pasteurized or concentrated after this process, according to the type of product.
For the production of concentrated juice, the product of the extraction of the fruits proceeds to an evaporator where the concentration process happens. In this step, water is removed from the product by evaporation until it reaches the desired concentration. This is a very important stage since the product is subjected to high temperatures and hence its microbial load is reduced. It is important to emphasize that all products of Cisol do Brasil are submitted to rigid tests for the evaluation of physical, physical-chemical and microbiological security.
The production of essential oils is parallel to the production of juices, because when the fruit is pressed in the extractor, the oil bags present in its bark are disrupted and the oil is removed with water. This system of oil and water passes through a solids removal process and the oil is separated by centrifugation. Finally, the oil passes through the winterization process for obtaining a final product of excellent quality.
